Make the amount

See which notes and coins make an amount of money.

  1. Under I need, type the amount.
  2. The app shows the notes and coins that make it — as few as possible — with pictures, and in words at the bottom.
Example: I need $1.30 → $1 + 20¢ + 10¢
Make the amount with $1.30 under I need. Pictures show a $1 coin, a 20 cent coin and a 10 cent coin. A blue panel at the bottom says: Make $1.30. $1 + 20¢ + 10¢.

When you need more than one of a note or coin, its picture shows how many, like ×2.

There is no 1¢ coin. So an amount like $1.33 is made up to $1.35, and the app says so.
